I had a very nice Christmas. I got myself a new night shirt: My husband couldn't figure it out. Seriously? You don't have to watch Bollywood to have heard of the word 'namaste'. We draw names in our family, and my mom drew my name. She got me Dhoom 2 and 3 (which were on my Amazon list, she wouldn't have heard of them otherwise) but I was delighted that she surprised me with a Bollywood coloring book and pencils! I have the same colouring book

I have a tendency to watch films online however I can find them;) and then I buy my favorites on DVD, so my recent purchases have been Kapoor & Sons, Brothers, Sanam Teri Kasam (possibly my favorite film of the year!), Dilwale, and Shaandaar (all from Amazon). On my list to buy are Amar Prem (1972), Baahubali: The Beginning (Telugu and Hindi versions), Neerja, and OK Kanmani (Tamil).

Getting Charlie and Bangalore Days in the mail from Bhavani soon. Now I will have three Malayalam films (including Urumi) in my collection!
Also just bought the Hindi version of Bahubali, but look forward to finally seeing the Telugu versions someday, too.

From Induna -
Rajkahini - only two words to describe this - brilliant and visceral, so don't now if I'll watch the DVD as a re-watch just yet but I had just had to get it.
A 5 DVD set called Best from Prithvi Theater - 36 Chowringhee Lane, Junoon, Utsav, Kal Yug & Vijeta. Shashi Kapoor is in all except 36 Chowringhee. His wife, Jennifer, is in 2 of them and is listed as costume designer for 3 of them. Rekha is in 3.

A parcel arrived today from Induna -
Mother India Muhal-E-Azam (in colour)
and because I have decided to try and get all of SRK's movies on DVD, or as many as I can -
Veer-Zaara Baazigar and a 3-1 which includes King Uncle (no subtitles so should be interesting...)
But all of these are going under the Christmas tree so I won't be watching any of them for a month or so.

I now own "Sagara sangamam (1983)" aka "Salangai oil" but unfortunately without subtitles. I would be very grateful to you if you can tell me where to find them (seems impossible on the web), or if someone could extract them from a DVd and send them to me.

Oh dear, Mr. B, is Game not any good?
Today I bought Lakshaya with Hrithik. Everywhere I looked it was $50 or more, but finally found one on E-bay for $15. It was just listed and a Buy-It-Now, so I nabbed it.

It was just listed and a Buy-It-Now, so I nabbed it. I found it very disappointing, but tastes differ so you shouldn't be put off by my opinion. Lakshya, on the other hand, I enjoyed until it gets too military. And Agar Main Kahoon and Main Aisa Kyun Hoom both show off Hrithik's dancing at its peak.
