That is nothing at all like I thought it would be! Seems almost college-age-ish. Her accent is interesting, it's not quite right, I wouldn't mistake her for an American, but not quite Indian, either. Anyway, I would still probably see it if it was on tv, if only for the novelty factor. I agree. Totally not what I was picturing. Honestly, it doesn't look great to me, and unfortunately seems like the kind of show that will get cancelled pretty quickly. But I'm not the target demographic, clearly, so I may be totally wrong. And she has all those loyal fans, which may make a difference as well.

This has been receiving a decent amount of advertising on CTV, a big Canadian network, and Space, a Sci-Fi/Fantasy channel. It's going to be on Sunday evenings starting September. Looks like it might have a decent chance of success, at least here.

This morning, Friday Sept 25, PC was on Good Morning America at 8:30, and then on Live with Kelly & Michael. She tweets that she expects to be on Access Hollywood this evening.

Metro Free Daily (not weekends) Newspaper (published in Philadelphia, New York, Boston) on page 18 today lists PC as the first of "Five Next Big Names in TV."
"... making her splashy American (TV drama) debut in "Quantico," a show that somehow combines the DNA of "Homeland" and "Grey's Anatomy." ... "The show's premiere attracted quite a bit of attention, ..."

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Quantico's pilot episode. It was a little confusing in parts, with all the twists, but ultimately really intriguing and a great way to start off a season. I thought Priyanka did a great job and she's backed up by a nice supporting cast.
Haven't seen the second episode yet; decided to hit the hay after Fear the Walking Dead season finale last night. Will catch up with Quantico tonight!

A "full season" with 13 episodes ordered to start with. According to Wikipedia's "Quantico" article, the first two episodes drew about 7 million viewers each, good for a 06% Share and a 1.9 Rating, ranked 24th among all programs. But Episode Three lost viewers, keeping only 5.67 million, for a 5% Share and 1.6 Rating. A Bad Trend, as Box Office India might say. However, the series has also been sold to India (of course!) and Australia, so it should have "some" protection. Dancelover I'm enjoying the show for the most part. I only tuned in because I saw Priyanka was going to be the star. (And I like the huge billboards of her I have seen around Philadelphia!! Like any show it has its flaws. There are so many characters and so many red herrings it seems, that it can be confusing. I like it, but then I also wish they would move the story along sometimes instead of add one more layer again. Priyanka for the most part is just okay. I have seen her do better. She is completely kick-butt in the fight scenes (if that is actually her) and she does have some strong moments. I wonder if it has more to do with the writing though, since many of the characters dialogue seems kind of stilted. Is this show expected to be a full season with more to come? Or is this like Secrets and Lies which was only a 10 episode mini series? I just cannot see this dragging out for more than 1 season. I do not see enough story here for that long.

The loss of viewers for Epi 3 may have been due to The Walking Dead's season premiere, which didn't end until 30 minutes into Quantico.

Now Wikipedia says that 19 episodes have been ordered. Still losing viewers: Episode Four 5.3 million, 5% share (of TVs in use) Episode Five 5.1 million, 4% share. I found out from a friend this afternoon that Quantico is being shown on one of our free-to-air channels, 4 episodes have been shown so far. I have a little catching-up to do online! I'll record episodes from now on so that I don't miss it.

The show's getting better as it goes along, IMO. It's really finding its footing, especially as we continue to get to know the characters.

In Week Seven the show finally had an uptick in viewers, coming back to 4.38 million viewers for a 1.3 Rating and 4 Share, after having fallen to 4.05/1.2/3 in Week Six.
Edit: Week Eight: 4.22, and the website is also tracking DVR watchers, which doubles the audience. ABC has now bought 3 more episodes, total 22.
