Translating Fanaa from english to french, I just found an extract of a song without lyrics. The scene takes place in a helicopter, at approximatively 1:24:15. Soldiers are singing a capella a few words. We can find this scene in the second part of the movie there: www.veoh.com/watch/v700714STBB6WBR, it begins at 0:13:40 and ends at 0:14:00. (If the link doesn't appear, go to veoh.com and type Fanaa 2 or search with google this number: v700714STBB6WBR ) As the music was composed by Jatin and Lalit, I am pretty sure it is one of their previous songs, I have already heard it. But where, I can't remember! Does one of you have the answer? I keep searching, and if I find, shall come back soon to you. Good luck!

From what I know, this is actually a Punjabi pop song that they're singing. You can find the lyrics here. I usually think I know what they're saying in Punjabi, but it's like knowing French and thinking you know what they're saying in Italian, so I'll check with my friends to see their input.
ETA: They sing the beginning part of the song: Jine Mera Dil Luteya, Oh Ho, Jine Mainu Maar Suteya, Jine Mera Dil Luteya, Jine Mera Dil Luteya, Lakk Patla Billori Ohde Nain, Nain, Kanni Jhumke Hulare Ohde Lain Lain, Gallan Kardi, Hoye, Kardi Sehad Ton Mithiyan

From what I know, this is actually a Punjabi pop song that they're singing. You can find the lyrics here. Brilliant! Thank you so much for having searched, and found the title, and the lyrics! And the link to listen to the original song! This forum is definitely cordial. I usually think I know what they're saying in Punjabi, but it's like knowing French and thinking you know what they're saying in Italian, so I'll check with my friends to see their input.
Exactly! Perfect example. I sometimes understand italian words, because french has common roots with it, but I can't understand everything. Mille grazie! And now, a bonus for you, dear forumers. You can hear twice the same song in Fanaa, at about 0:47:10 and exactly one hour later, at 1:47:10. I have found it, it is "Lag Jaa Gale" from Woh kaun thiETA I found the translation herejinne mera dil lutiya...O ho the one who stole my heart jinne mainu maar sutiya.. O Ho the one who chucked me on the floor jinne mera dil lutiya...O ho jinne mainu maar sutiya.. O Ho lakk patla balouri ode nain nain shes got a thin hips and blue eyes kanni jhumke halouri ode lain lain shes got earings in her ears and gallan kardi she talks kardi shahad ton mithiyan she talkes about things that are sweeter than honey Thanks again!

You're welcome, odadune! And another bonus: At approximatively 2:01:30 in the movie (corresponding at 50:33 in the second part I posted up there), Zulfi begins to sing a capella. It is an old song, Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koi Shikwa Nahi, from movie Aandhi (1975). My video didn't appear? I try another link:
