I lurked on the old forum, but I decided to make an account here and actually participate. I got into Bollywood via Bride and Prejudice, then Kandukondain Kandukondain and followed Aishwarya into Bollywood proper and stayed for the last 7 or 8 years. My favorite movie is probably Jab We Met, and I like the sentimental classics like KKHH and DDLJ. I also love Dabangg, it's my feel-good movie for when I'm down. Sometimes you just need to watch Salman Khan beating everybody up. I've been really into 90s movies and Govinda lately, too.
I have a bolly-blog, but it's so nice to just chat with other people who are as obsessed with Bollywood as I am!

Hey, welcome aboard! God bless Aish and the people responsible for her two Desi Jane Austen movies, I feel like they did a lot for the fandom in the west here.

Thanks! Bride and Prejudice hasn't really stood up to repeated watchings, but it's got sentimental value. Kandukondain is still delightful, though.
