Hi folks. Why are there "next page" buttons at the top of each page, but not at the bottom? This has happened to me over and over again: I am reading a thread. I reach the end of the page. There is no way to get to the next page. There is nothing even telling me that there is a next page. I have to remember that there is an additional page of posts I want to read, scroll back up to the top of the page, and click the Next button there. (Multi-page lists of threads, such as the Film Fair, suffer the same problem.) If you have any ability to customize the forum layout, I hope you get a chance to address this. It is quite an annoyance and will certainly result in fewer posts being read and responded to. Thanks.

Hi Carla! Thanks for raising your concern and it's great to see you around these parts. I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, I'm curious if you could share what browser you're using? I usually use Firefox, and the header with the pages usually follows me all the way through a page till I get to the very last post where it disappears. This is obviously stupid, but when I scroll up even a tad after reading that last post, the header reappears and I can click on it to go to the next page. I mention this hoping it can perhaps help you out in the meanwhile.

It's a small help but it is still not in the right place; I didn't see it because when I get to the bottom of a page of postings I am looking at the bottom of the page, not the top. This isn't a knock against you or any of the other forum admins - it's just a weird, weird forum design. I read a number of forums and all of them have page navigation at the top and the bottom, right there where you are looking when you get to the bottom of a screen. And of course the old BollyWHAT forum had it as well. Thanks for the info.

Agreed, you'd think this would be automatic, but it was really easy to activate, so that's something. I now have a next page button at the end of threads, and if you could, just confirm all is well from your end when you get the chance.

It's at the end of the page for me as well, and I'm using Opera. BTW, I'd never seen the sticky header you mentioned, so this probably never worked in Opera. I still have to scroll back all the way to the top of a page if I want to reply to a post that's at the end of it, though.

I'm glad you get at least *one* bar, then, in Opera! They did tout this end of page next page bar as being good for all browsers. So at the end of a thread you don't have the quick reply box? That's how the forum looks to me...I don't have to hit a reply button at the beginning or end of a thread because there's always a 'quick reply' box at the end of the page. Hmm...

My version of Opera (12.16) has both, and I *think* they've always been there. The sticky bar at the top has been there for a while for me, if not since the get go then pretty close to it, but I'm so super-observant I can't actually tell you hand-on-heart whether the other one was there before you guys mentioned it.

Okay, so it was probably my fault for being lazy. I updated my browser to the latest version and now I've got the "reply" bottom and a sticky header, too.

Apologies for not closing the loop sooner - I've got the page buttons at the bottom of the page now too (Above the quick reply box) and I very much appreciate it!
