Upaj: Improvise is a documentary that follows two dance masters, Indian Kathak guru Pandit Chitresh Das, and African-American tap star, Jason Samuels Smith, as they join forces for an extraordinary artistic collaboration, and an unlikely friendship develops that bridges continents, generations, cultures and communities. The movie will air nationally on PBS on January 20th, 2014. (Martin Luther King day)

Yes, I saw it and it was great. Very interesting to learn about the Kathak master Chitresh-ji, and the Kathak dance in general. Jason Samuels Smith is one of the best tap dancers in the world today(and a very nice person, too) so to see both these masters dancing together was incredible. I squealed when I saw that they performed on the Farhan Akhtar talk show! Farhan was totally into it, too..
