(also featuring Prakash Raj and a cameo by Mahesh Babu) Basically, this is a historical (possibly in 3D, although I'll believe that when I see it), scheduled for release in June 2014 and starring Anushka as the title character, a 13th c. warrior princess/queen, with Rana as her husband. You can learn more about them here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudramadevi I don't know anything about the director, and given Rana's somewhat limited acting chops I hope they won't push the love story too hard, but this sounds like an awesome idea, the pictures from it look awesome, and Anushka definitely has the looks and personality to carry the role off, IMO, given a decent script. |

Thank you! I think he's going to do well in this-he did pretty good in the mythological play within a movie segments in that one movie I saw with him.

The VFX are nothing to write home about , though hopefully they will be refined for the film itself. I wish they'd cool it with the epic "look at all this CGI we have" shots of the virtual camera flying around.
I'm seeing a major Magadheera hangover, and I bet Baahubali will be the better of the two upcoming Telugu historical films. I'm still looking forward to this, though.
