Emem Isong Unites Nollywood And Bollywood In Romantic Comedy By SAMUEL ABULUDE Nigerian filmmaker, Emem Isong is bridging the gap between Bollywood and Nollywood as she has just released a romantic comedy that features both popular actors from India (Bollywood) and Nigeria (Nollywood). The movie entitled ‘Love is in the hair’ will be screened at the cinemas this Friday, January 15, 2016. Love is in the hair stars Uti Nwachukwu, Funny Bone, Okey Bakassi, Ime Bishop Umoh, Aimakhu Toyin, Funky Mallam and others. It is produced by Emem Isong and directed by Ansa Kpokpogri. The producer told online platform, Pulse the movie is a Nollywood meets Bollywood project. “Love is in the air’ is a comedy. I wanted to do a sort of ‘Nollywood meets Bollywood’ thing, even if it’s just on a small scale,” Emem further said. Speaking further, the CEO of Royal Arts Academy said, “I invited an Indian actress who came to Nigeria to act, and we completed the other part of the movie in India. We worked with some actors who are a little bit popular in the Indian film industry. I want to see how one can break into the market as well”. The movie producer is the success story behind great movies like Weekend Getaway, Reloaded, Champagne and other flicks.

Is there an English-subtitled version of this? CDJapan indicates that the DVD has no subtitles.

Is there an English-subtitled version of this? CDJapan indicates that the DVD has no subtitles. I'm not aware of one; subs aren't needed to enjoy the movie, IIRC. Be aware the DVD is Region 2.

I have a region-free player. Now I need to work up the courage to pay $40 for a DVD...

Japanese Bollywood??? How did I not know that this existed before now??? This forum is awesome. But now I will be consumed with desire for an expensive DVD that will be made even more expensive by the fact that I would have to buy an all-region player in order to watch it.
