Sad of course to leave the old board behind, there was so much good stuff there! But happy to have a chance to still be part of this labor of love!

It is interesting it will start everyone off again at zero. It feels like a new beginning. Now I have to figure out stuff again.

I'm glad you're still a part of it, too, KK. I suppose you grew up with BW? Any early memories of it that you'd like to share?

Corbie, it is really weird to start off at zero and have to refigure things out but at least it's better than not having BWhat at all.
James, thanks for making me feel welcome and yes I grew up not just with Hindi movies but other regional language movies as well, not just while in India but while living in heavily Indian communities outside India as well. Memories are many, like looking forward to being to look at the new issues of Filmfare and CineBlitz and Stardust hidden in our English Composition textbooks! And being glued to Chitrahaar and Chitramala for new and old songs.....I so wish I could afford cable to see Indian channels here in Boston. Instead I content myself with NDTv and YouTube!

That is a nice change from even the 90s, eh KK? There are so many online options to keep in touch, so many youtube channels with content, all of which would have been nearly impossible to get before. I still remember all the VHS cassettes from the 90s with the stupid banner of whatever company made the cassette dancing through the screen and ruining the view of the movie. And now, so much of it is online, HD, good quality. Now if only the bloody telecoms would be more reasonable, I'm sure lots of people would take up that type of programming, too...I have cable, but the 'multicultural' channels are ridiculously expensive. Anyway, glad again to see you back and looking forward to your posts on the forum.
