My first thought upon seeing this thread title: "It's Ghajini!" (though hopefully with a MUCH happier ending, lol.)
That is wonderful for her, though! Yes, excited for wedding pics.

Any bets on whether she will be able to continue to act, or whether she will change her profession to Rich Man's Wife (itself a form of acting). My bet is Profession-Change. Reason: she is not strong enough in Bollywood to force them to keep hiring her. Too many others in her group (actresses up from the South). D

She's said that she hasn't signed any movies since All Is Well (which was started in like 2013), precisely so she could focus on her personal life. There's kind of a popular belief that the starlets who drop out of the film business abruptly or stop taking roles for a period of time do so because some rich and powerful boyfriend has decided they don't want her working anymore (Diana Penty from Cocktail is the one example I've heard cited). And, as some of the news items have pointed out, Asin has been working in films since 2001, when she was reputedly fifteen; and had an 11-yr career behind her by the end of 2012 (the year she met her now-fiance and starred in her last batch of films before AiW).

Diana Penty - an example of tragically unused talent in Bollywood. She was excellent in Cocktail with her subtle nuances and restrained performance (much better than Deepika who overacted IMO), and looked simple in a beautiful way. She definitely had the qualities reminiscient of vintage Bollywood. Cocktail did well, and her performance was greatly appreciated - it would have been great to see her in more films.
