This should not be taken as final, given Saif's history of saying yes then no to projects, but apparently Vipul Shah has the rights to remake the Nicole Kidman/Colin Firth amnesia thriller "Before I Go To Sleep", and is going to direct Saif in it this September: timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/hindi/bollywood/news/Bhushan-Kumar-brings-Vipul-Shah-and-Saif-Ali-Khan-to-do-a-romantic-thriller/articleshow/48083646.cmsFrom what I can tell about the original, the woman is the main POV character and the two main male characters are somewhat mysterious/ambiguous, which Saif has a reputation of doing well. Vipul has produced several thrillers (Force, Commando, Holiday), and directed the somewhat leisurely but interesting psychological thriller Aankhen. This is mildly surprising given earlier reports that Vipul was going to direct Namastey England starting late-January of 2016 and release it in late 2016 or sometime in 2017; most of his earlier directoral efforts were released 2-3 years apart, with the narrowest gap being between London Dreams (October 2009) and Action Replayy (November 2010).
