I think I am going to go. I can get on a plane, go to Chicago, find a hotel close to the venue, take a taxi. Anybody here live in Chicago and going? I am getting older and when will I get another chance?

I've been kicking around the idea of going to the Chicago one...closest one to me (I live seven hours away, sigh). Probably not, though...money is tight.

Money tight here. I am getting into the money I got selling stuff around the house and under it. This house has junk going back 4 generations. But at my age, sometimes you just have to. If I can figure out the food. I am Paleo now and feel great, stomach issues gone etc. I need to find a cooler and a Whole Foods when I get there some how. Unless this messes me up so bad I can't go. Eating regular food would make me sick, so would be no point in going.

Thank you for getting this up! I enjoyed most of it, except the poledancing and Deepika's squawky attempt at a Marathi accent. Felt kind of like a cross between the theatricality of Om Shanti Om and the ensemble hijinks of Sajid Khan's (Farah's brother's) movies.

This looks a bit of a muddled mess to me, but with that cast and it being Farah Khan and all, I imagine I'll find it a highly entertaining muddled mess.

LOL, the only reason I know what that accent is supposed to be is from reading some stuff that said the character was supposed to be Marathi.

Totally bombastic. I didn't fine the trailer very funny, but it looks plenty entertaining.
In general, SRK has two big things over Salman or Aamir's uber commercial flicks: 1. He's a capable performer 2. He keeps it light.

From the trailer, it's obvious this is Farah's 'biggest' film in terms of the locales, action sequences, an ensemble cast, etc. But whether we are going to get the thoroughly enjoyable funky fun that's Farah's trademark is the question. I cannot say I LOL'd over the couple of 'funny' sequences on screen. And not being prone to keeling over at the vision of glitzy hotels and dance venues or mid-air stunts, those sequences didn't overwhelm me either. Farah, IMHO, is not really capable of stretching herself to diverse perspectives. If she sticks to her knitting and gives us an entertaining, endearing film (like MHN, still my Farah favorite), I will be happy. The trailer, from what I see, does not support that hope.

They should have cast another women for the crew. The lack of sex symmetry in the dancing is gonna bother me.

There are ways to work the Smurfette Principle (only one woman in the group of men) entertainingly in choreography (usually by making the woman the centerpiece); I agree that Farah's not really doing that here.
