This is the latest film from R. Balki (Paa, Cheeni Kum); wikipedia claims that it is releasing February 6, 2015. They are filming in Helsinki and Lappland (Finland). Soundtrack is by the prolific Tamil composer Ilaiyaraaja, who also did the music for Lajja, Cheeni Kum, and Paa.
This is Dhanush's second Hindi-landi language film after Raajhaanaa, and the film debut of Akshara, who is Shruti Haasan's younger sister (both are the children of the minor Bollywood star Sarika and the major Tamil star Kamal Hassan.)

Trailer: They also have some kind of promo with Amitabh singing on the toilet, which you are welcome to track down for yourself.

There is am entire "item" number involving toilets. Still processing the film. It was either very very good or very very bad. I actually have not decided yet.

This movie ended up being my first Bollywood movie seen on the Big Screen, because it was playing in San Francisco when I visited my sister last weekend. Don't have time for a lot of detail, but I'll give some quick thoughts: Production values = excellent Performances = excellent Story premise = far-fetched, but intriguing Songs = serviceable, nice, nothing special Song Picturizations = toilets Ending = ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! !

Yea, I decided I mostly liked it. I did not like the ending however. The toilets were just plain weird. All in all, glad I saw it. Is there still that thread of medicine only in Bollywood??
