This is a crime/relationship drama directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, officially adapted from the French film Les Lyonnais. The story takes place in two different timeframes, with Irrfan and Vidyut as the older and younger versions of the main character and Amit Sadh and Tigmanshu himself (replacing Manoj Bajpai, who had date issues I think) playing the younger and older versions of the main character's best friend. IIRC, Shruti was cast partially because she wasn't opposed to being "aged up" for the present-day version of her character; she's had some experience with "effects makeup" for her scar-faced character in D-Day, and has South India's answer to Lon Chaney Sr for a dad. Vidyut has been quietly taking acting workshops for the role. I'm kind of annoyed with Vidyut for turning down roles with more commercial directors in Happy New Year and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and reputedly bragging about it, but this could be a big chance for him to establish himself in the artier section of Hindi-language film.
