This title is merely a joke, a product of my fevered imagination, but wouldn't that make a *Great* movie title?! Dancelover

What about "Kabhi Masala, Kabhie Madhu" for a movie title? Anyone "like" that one? D This title is merely a joke, a product of my fevered imagination, but wouldn't that make a *Great* movie title?! Dancelover

Kuch Thodi, Kuch Baadi
Dancelover, wondering if he is the only one who tries to invent movie titles (hint! hint!)

I don't know enough Hindi to think up movie titles in that language, and I'm wondering if maybe this thread would work better in Masala? (hint, hint

Only tangentially on topic, but there was a BBC TV programme called Toughest Place To Be A... where they sent a London taxi driver to Mumbai to experience their taxi drivers' lives. I so wish they'd called it Cabbie Khushi Cabbie Gham.

On reflection, I agree with you, Odadune. I have requested that it be moved to Bollywood Masala. Dancelover I don't know enough Hindi to think up movie titles in that language, and I'm wondering if maybe this thread would work better in Masala? (hint, hint

Wikipedia says this idea was actually used in 2001, entitled Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi (Something Sour/Sweet). It is a "Parent Trap" with Kajol in the Hayley Mills double role. IfIUnderstandC, Rati Agnihotra returns from Maternity Leave to play the Mother, opposite Rishi Kapoor. D What about "Kabhi Masala, Kabhie Madhu" for a movie title? Anyone "like" that one? D

Films about the Bollywood community itself: we have had Om Shanti Om (Farah), Luck By Chance (Zoya), and I've found a couple of previous such films while making jodi lists. Hollywood does it too, e. g. Singin' In The Rain.
So frequent a topic, it is time for another! I suggest this title:
Mujhse Filmi Karoge

This title is merely a joke, a product of my fevered imagination, but wouldn't that make a *Great* movie title?! Dancelover I'm wondering what you mean by Kushi. Do you mean Khushi (happiness), kushi (killing), kushi (holder of a type of grass), or the English word cushy (which happens to be a derivative of khushi)?

I was playing off of other titles: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Khabi Kushi Khabi Gaum. So: Something Of Happiness.
Or something like that. I am not a scholar of Hindi. My vidya was even more thodi back then than it is now. Dancelover

If your vidya has increased since June, then I'd say it's a job well done and nothing to be sad about.
