I liked the facebook page of the Navbharat Times and saw this article about how to extend the life or your smartphone's battery in my news feed. While reading the article, I saw the following line: अगर आपको लगता है कि आपके स्मार्टफोन की बैटरी जल्दी टैं बोल जाती है, तो इन तरीकों को आजमा सकते हैं: Which clearly means, 'If you feel that your smart phone's battery dies quickly, then try out these methods (to extend its life)", but I've never heard this verb to describe a dying battery anywhere else and can't find it in any dictionary anywhere. Can anyone shed some light on it, its usage, any background (is it used in other expressions?), that sort of thing? And thanks in advance.

The word should be टें instead of टैं.
टें ṭē (nf) screech of a parrot; -टें babbling, prating; —होना, —बोल जाना to collapse, to crash down.

That was very helpful, desi4life. Thanks very much. I found the dictionary entry you cited here in case anyone's interested in it.
