The commercial is cute but I'd like to hear another opinion on this - am I wrong to get a bit of a stalker-ish vibe from it? I'm not sure that they made it crystal clear that these two are indeed acquainted before he starts snapping her pics. However, Hrithik and Sonam make a fabulous jodi with tons of chemistry, I could absolutely see them in a light hearted romantic movie. It's good to see that despite having such a traumatic year, Hrithik still looks damn gorgeous.

First, it is a commercial for a smartphone, and has nothing to do with Mobil Oil Company. Second, we are shown that they were playmates as children. It seems that they lost touch. Third, IMHO it is Stalking if the lady does not know about it, or if she finds out and rejects it but it continues despite her rejection. In this case, she found out rather promptly, and accepted it, and then was more and more glad that she did. Social contacts can be dangerous, but they are necessary, and must be started somehow, despite the risks. IMHO. Um, does that phone have a remoter shutter? Ah, why don't we have that? I can never take a picture with my freaking Galaxy. And that phone is huge.
And I'm always here for Hrithik being adorkable.

They are really cute together. Prabhudheva, if you develop a random urge to remake your own Engeyum Kadhal/Billy Wilder's Love in the Afternoon, I just found a great jodi for you. That being said, it really looked to me like they'd never interacted as adults before the moment where she notices him noticing her, and certainly I didn't get the feeling that either of them recognized the other as That Kid until the climactic reveal. Definitely cute as fantasy, especially with Sonam wearing fab clothes and Hrithik making funny faces, but would be probably creepy and stalkertastic in reality.

And when you think about it, why would they scan the childhood photo and put it on the phone? That's not a thing people do silly commercial Def not something to over think.
