According to a report published in DNA, "Mahira's character is Nawaz's glam doll in the film before Miyanbhai sweeps her off her feet. LOL, in terms of his mainstream roles, Nawaz is turning into the latter-day Vinod Khanna (heck, even most of the Vinodophilic bollybloggers are into Nawaz now). Interesting - I'd liken him to more of a Nana Patekar in the 90s era, establishing himself as a formidable character actor in supporting roles in big-budget movies (Parinda, Agni Sakshi, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman etc) and also holding his own in a few low-budget solo releases (Krantiveer, Ghulam-E-Mustafa). Likewise, Nawazuddin is approaching his career very intelligently - leaving a mark in big-budget supporting roles in films like Kick, BB, and Raees, while also maintaining his own unique acting style in films like Gangs of Wasseypur, The Lunchbox, and the soon-to-release Manjhi. |
