Ranbir's playing a thief, Jacqueline has a double role(!?), and Arjun is a writer. Apart from that, I don't know much about it, but here's a couple of promo posters.

Thank you for catching that one, Xas-this one always falls out of my head when I'm trying to do upcoming movie roundups. The posters are kind of growing on me-arjun looks good in a fedora. Jacqueline is likable onscreen, but not really all that accomplished as an actress, and IMO she's not really someone who looks really "different" when you dress her differently from her norm or style her hair differently. (There's not really the "shock value" of how different she looks in this or that, the way the character in Barfi is different from Priyanka's norm, or in the way Deepika uses dress and hairstyle as well as mannerisms to distinguish between two characters in her dual roles for Om Shanti Om and Chandni Chowk to China).

I've been anticipating Ranbir's film with Anurag, had no idea about this one. Where does he find the time...? (P.S. after all these years of love-and-hate I've finally come to embrace Ranbir as an actor. I think it was Barfi that finally did it.)
I like the posters. I've always thought Jacqueline was really neat looking, but I think of her more as a glamor doll than a bonafide actress. I think she's yet to have a "breakout" and be taken seriously, but this film could do that for her.

I'm not sure he's quite managing to pull off the time management act-he's been bouncing back and forth between Tamasha and Jagga Jasoos lately, from what I can tell, doing short schedules on each, with a lot of grumbling about it in the press that *might* originate with the producers. Dunno that it's his fault, exactly: Bombay Velvet (the Anurag Kashyap film) turned into a huge time sink, Roy started out as a favor for a friend IIRC, Jagga Jasoos seems to be one of those movies that are just extremely logistically complicated, and I don't think any male lead in the industry would have turned down Tamasha (relationship drama costarring Deepika and directed by Imtiaz Ali) if they were offered it. Add to that the normal rounds of partying and spending time with Katrina, and he gets spread pretty thin.

I just saw a new photo of him the other day and he looks rough :/ this must be part of why, 3 sets at once? (plus I doubt he's sober, that doesn't help)

I don't know .... in the above Trailer IMHO some of Jacqueline's looks resemble some of Priyanka's looks. Perhaps because they both have wide faces?

I was interested in this project until watching the trailer. Stylistically I was expecting something more... original? Like darker and more film-noir... maybe that's because I keep confusing it with Bombay Velvet.
