How do you feel about this jodi? I can't wait to see what she is like working with Ranveer's charisma. She def has it in her to be a powerhouse. I would have prefered that they cast Anushka in the film instead. Vaani, though she was decent/good in SDR, doesn't appeal to me. Let's wait and see the performance she'll deliver in Befikre, it'll be her first leading role in Hindi Cinema after all (I've yet to see BBB SI remake). |

I re-watched SDR after this announcement and she seems to have a quiet force that will pair well with Ranveer. I hope this goes well! |

I was really apprehensive about Vaani's casting, and would've preferred Anushka myself. That said, I think she did well in the above video. She has good screen presence, and she and Ranveer look decent together. Hopefully, the film has a good script/plot; I'm pretty sure it's Ranveer's only release this year.

Everyone would rather see Anushka Sharma - or Shetty. That is why they are so expensive. Aditya Chopra has budgeted for Ranveer, so won't also pay an Anushka for this, I would think. Even YRF can't expect every film to be a blockbuster, and Ranveer's fee is very high now. Dancelover I was really apprehensive about Vaani's casting, and would've preferred Anushka myself. That said, I think she did well in the above video. She has good screen presence, and she and Ranveer look decent together. Hopefully, the film has a good script/plot; I'm pretty sure it's Ranveer's only release this year. |

I think Vaani will be fine. She hasn't had much experience and the film she was in with Sushant was really challenging for a newcomer. (not all that good either) How lucky was Anushka to have a debut with SRK and how lucky was Ranveer to be partnered by Anushka in a good rom-com? If the material is good, she will do well.
