Sometime around October 2013, Twinkle Khanna started doing fortnightly columns for DNA (as part of a group of celebs who agreed to do this, including SRK, if I remember correctly) and in late 2014 she expanded to write for the Times of India as well. Although initially kind of unfocused (and, well, grumpy) they were moderately funny and showed quite a good ability to turn a phrase. Over time, she became more mellow in tone, more assured in style, and started talking about the issues of the day from a centrist/upperclass secularist POV. (Along the way, I was somewhat surprised to discover that she was at least as big of a science fiction/fantasy geek as I was.) She has a collection of columns coming out in August, with added material. If you're looking for autobiographical material about what she calls her "small but odd family", there is some (exaggerated for laughs, she says) but not tons and tons: you'll see somewhat more of her kids (who apparently get a double-barrelled dose of hellraiser from both sides of the gene pool) than of her very famous, cheerfully bohemian mother, or her early-rising, athletic husband, and if you're into her old school chum Karan Johar for some reason you could count the overt references to him on the fingers of one hand, I think. But the family anecdotes are funny, and her observations about life in India are interesting. Amazon has the book on pre-order here; I think I read somewhere that there should also be a Kindle edition at some point.
