Hi everybody, hope you are fine and watch plenty of pictures! I love this song, Chan se bole but Gulzar's lyrics make me perplexed. I found the same translations everywhere I look on the web, and I don't understand how the words are put together. Does this mean sense to you? Are there some words to intervert (to switch, if you prefer), are there any mistakes? I would appreciate if someone would rewrite the verses in order to make the sentences become understandable (sorry for the poetry for the moment ) ln a flash glittering maples gush sparkling
Saw a dream my twinkling eyes scream..
..a glimpse of my dreams spills out of me
..a fountain of it and the world says..
(ln a flash glittering maples gush sparkling
Saw a dream my twinkling eyes scream..
..a glimpse of my dreams spills out of me
..a fountain of it and the world says..)
Fresh dreams of a fresh youth..
..when did womanhood descend.
(Fresh dreams of a fresh youth..
..when did womanhood descend.)
Woke up to the world
and along came a new birth
Dreams play out in front of me
Play out a new game everyday
lf the moon shatters Share the pieces with the world
Day in and day out Lets play our hearts out
Thanks by advance

Theme seems to be "Young Women Coming Of Age."
How well the lyrics present that, is another question. The Dancing is obvious enough.
Perhaps we should mute-out the lyrics.

Hi dancelover, thanks for the theme, it's a good suggestion. As a man, I will never understand all the feminity's secrets, of course. That's surely why these sentences still are all Greek for me.
