www.boxofficeindia.com : earned only 1-1.25 crore on Friday. Still has a chance, but must double that on Saturday.
D
Monday: It did! and three on Sunday, and then another crore on Monday despite ticket prices decreasing 20%! BOI is now calling it "decent; maybe a hit."

Wouldn't expect it to be a hit but this surely looks cute.

D In India Today web site, it is stated: "The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and debutant Bhumi Pednekar in the lead, has collected Rs.3.20 crore in two days. The film opened to a poor response and managed to earn Rs.1.11 crore on Friday but due to word of mouth the business on Saturday was almost double." For further info, click!

I want to see this movie so badly. I love the music especially Dard Karaara. Praying for an international release including Chicago.

From the "latest films viewed" thread: And then I watched Dum Laga Ke Haisha. I felt sorry for Prem but still wanted to give him a kick up the backside! Sorry because he was forced into a marriage to meet his family's expectations (like so many must be) and for whatever reason he had given up on his education. Controlling families, family expectations aaaargh! He behaved appallingly towards Sandhya and I wanted to slap him too. Still they found 'lurve' in the end. Where were you able to see this? Is it on DVD yet? I saw it on SominalTV but Einthusan also have it. The DVD has been released and Induna.com have it for sale. Dum Laga Ke Haisa *ing Ayushmann Khurana & Bhumi PednekarIt was a nice watch, although I felt that the second half was rushed. I would have liked to see Ayushmann's character becoming attracted to his wife and falling for her. Although, it would have been nice if the makers had put the song Dard Karaara between the bride seeing ceremony and the wedding scene. I think it would have been more obvious for us that she married him because she genuinely liked him and not because it was an arranged marriage.

More thoughts from the "movies recently watched" thread: Dum Laga Ke Haisa *ing Ayushmann Khurana & Bhumi PednekarIt was a nice watch, although I felt that the second half was rushed. I would have liked to see Ayushmann's character becoming attracted to his wife and falling for her. THIS, totally this. I ordered the DVD of Dum Laga Ke Haisha, but couldn't wait to watch it, so Chromecasted einthusan from my computer to my TV. I have been wanting to watch this movie, for forever, and I ended it wishing it was longer. I very much agree that I felt the ending was rushed, and I would have liked to see the burgeoning friendship of the couple more fleshed out. Another half hour! In one way, it's more like a traditional Hollywood Rom Com in that all is resolved in one dramatic gesture at the end, and they realize they do want to stay together, sweet kiss, the end. (Sorry for the spoilers, LOL!) The acting was good, I was quite impressed with Ayushmann Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar both. Ayushmann makes Prem likeable and sympathetic even though he is acting like an immature ASS for much of the picture. I'm still not sure he totally redeemed himself from the one-vile-horrible-thing-he-said-that-made-her-move-out, and that's why I wish it had been just a weeeeeee bit longer. Another song montage of him making it up to her even more, and more of their growing friendship. I don't know, the dramatic gesture and his big smile when she says she wants to stay with him did make me tear up. It's a very sweet film, though, and I adore all the music, which I listen to all the time. Glad the DVD is on its way!
