In looking for Mukesh songs I found this. It is my current favorite oldie. I am big fan of the accordion in the old songs.

I've been stuck on another song featuring Leela Naidu. From Yeh Raste Hain Pyar Ke (1963): Yeh Kamoshiyan... is a gorgeous song; I recently purchased it and I have yet to skip over it when it comes up on the playlist. I have not seen the movie; is Leela Naidu the singer or the heroine? I have never seen her before; she is lovely! Leela Naidu is the heroine. She apparently was a regular on the "Most Beautiful" lists in the '50s & '60s. I've only seen her in 3 movies: " Yeh Raste Hain Pyar Ke", "Anuradha", "The Householder".

and other assorted songs from this movie. Because Amitabh-Jaya. Oh many, that movie leaves me bawling every time. So much feels...amazing how much more beautiful Jaya was without make-up. I've got a playful song on my old playlist right now. Make the song a minor key and slow down the choreography, and you've got yourself a good stalker song.

I understand! Having watched MMJ, I bought C.I.D. because of this song. And I created karaokes for both of them, with hindi lyrics. Someday I'll try to find time to upload these clips somewhere. For me, I listen at " Tum itna jo muskura rahe ho", from the movie arth (and another karaoke clip!) .

This has been my absolute JAM lately! I love the end when Manna Dey and Kishore Kumar sing in harmony. The Big B-Dharmendra bromance is the best thing.

Not a film song, but a collection of ghazals sung by Mohammed Rafi. Beautiful.
