This is a really funny response after Alia Bhatt became the topic of jokes on how dumb she is following her appearance on Koffee With Karan.

Hahaha!!! It's nice that she can laugh at herself. I enjoy AIB's collaborations with celebs. Really funny stuff and we get to see them in a different light.

Yeah, it's been annoying that, in an industry of people who are generally not particularly booksmart or politically aware, everyone's picking on the 19-20 year-old girl for not knowing this stuff.

They call Parinetti Chopra "the other PC." They should call her "PC2" Dancelover

You might think of this as a back-handed compliment on her acting ability. Her acting displays a maturity well beyond her years, while her appearance and demeanour suggest someone several years younger than she actually is. Maybe people are surprised that she's not as mature as her acting implies.

I rather enjoyed this vid. Alia pulls off the act like a pro. I gave her SOTY and Highway a miss but watched Humpty Sharma on a friend's recommendation and came away more than a little impressed. I won't blame Alia entirely for her low level of general knowledge. I have children in the same age group and they are not much better - as a friend of theirs once informed me, their generation doesn't have the obsessive need we do to keep up with current affairs. Is that a bad thing? I don't know. Eventually, I guess (and hope), they will change. Simply because they will have to - not because we want them to.

Ever watch Jay Leno's "Jaywalking" segment? Adult Americans not knowing such answers as "What country is north of the USA?" and "Where is Canada?"!
I agree with the rest of you. Shame on those who pick on Alia!

I love Alia! It's awesome that she can laugh at herself and make a video like this... she's such a good sport. Also, why are people so mean that they make fun of a young actress, just because she made one mistake on a TV show? She is incredibly talented at what she does. Actresses don't need to know a lot about politics in order to be good at their job.

Some people act as if they could exalt themselves by demeaning other people.
IMHO they "ex-halt" themselves when they demean others. Howard "Dancelover" Wilkins
Also, why are people so mean that they make fun of a young actress, (?)

That was charmingly hilarious. I actually haven't seen any of Alia's films yet, I've only seen a couple of her song promos. But I may become a fan just because of this! Also, Karan had way too much fun. I could have done without his explanation of "hole" in "black hole information paradox" though.
