Hope you fellow Bollywhaters can help. I recently saw a trailer for a movie but don't remember it's title. I didn't recognise any of the cast so can't look for it on IMDB via a cast member.
It looked as though it was a NRI young woman being forced into marriage and/or domestic slavery (or something like that). It seemed quite ominous with a dark tone. There seemed to be a lot of English dialogue as well as Hindi (probably) so might not actually be a Bollywood production but by an NRI director.
Trying to get through to the cinema where I saw it by phone is nigh on impossible. I have left them a message on Facebook and maybe, if I am lucky, I'll get a reply.
Does this movie ring a bell with anyone here?
Thanks

Thanks for the heads up on Laxmi, rt, but it isn't the movie I'm seeking which has a more urban feel. It could be set in USA or UK with more affluent characters. No reply yet from the cinema - I'll have to try calling them again. Thanks for your help

Golly, the cinema contacted me and suggested the movie might be My Cornerstone - an Australian/Indian crossover set in Sydney. My Cornerstone
Trailer - I remember the trailer as being a bit more ominous than this but maybe that's my imagination. Looks interesting and I think it is screening in April.
