www.boxofficeindia.com has completed its migration to a new site. (Just like us!) It now includes records for the past three years, and some new features. Check it out! Dancelover

I noticed this the other day. It seems that the historical data is now behind a paywall, which is disappointing to me because it's the only thing I ever used the site for. I enjoyed looking up what films were popular in decades past. I can understand why they need to do this; providing content for free on the Internet is expensive. But $90/year is more than I want to pay for this information. I'm sure it's more than any casual user would be willing to pay. I wonder if they will get enough industry subscribers to make the model sustainable.

Yes, ten dollars per month, or even eighty dollars per year (rate at this moment), is too much. They do give some data, and some of their opinions, for free. Dancelover I noticed this the other day.
